1) Wine tasting and relax at a local winery

For those who are interested in spending a nice afternoon surrounded by nature, we offer the opportunity to visit one of the wineries located in our area. During the visit, besides being introduced to the products of the chosen winery, guests will have the opportunity to taste a choice of local products and then relax on poolside loungers or have a swim.

2) Tour of local wineries

Wine tasting at three wineries, lunch at an agriturismo, poolside relax, tour accompanied by a local guide

This tour is a great opportunity for our guests to taste a selection of wines from our area, which is perhaps a still relatively unknown wine area, but, thanks to a number of small, dedicated wineries producing high-quality wines, has more than a few surprises up its sleeve. During the day guests will be able to visit three wineries located on the hills between Tuscany and Romagna, which have been carefully selected in order to provide an overview of the local wine production. Guests will have lunch at an agriturismo with swimming pool, where they will be able to relax for a few hours in between visits. The price includes transport, lunch and tastings.

3) Cooking classes

Cooking course, dinner with local wine, customized cooking classes

Two-hour cooking class aimed at learning how to make pasta by hand and how to create our typical sauces, in particular the so called "ragù" meat sauce. The class will be held at a country house named Villa Corte, dating back to the 18th which is very well known because of its vaulted cellars, where cheese is prepared and stored for ripening. Following the class, guests will be offered a dinner featuring the dishes prepared in the afternoon, washed down with a glass of local wine. Upon request customized cooking classes are available.

4) Italian course for foreigners

Italian course for beginners and for advanced learners, traveling course

Italian course specifically designed for foreign tourists. The course offers a wide range of easy travel words and phrases which will help guests make themselves understood and understand an array of essential phrases in our language, so as to feel completely at ease in our country. Tourists who are here for a short time can also choose the option of a course lasting only few hours. Knowing a limited range of essential phrases can really make a difference and further improve the guest's experience. Upon request customized and thematic courses are available.

5) Speleological visit designed for all types of visitors to the Grotta Tanaccia (Tanaccia cave)

Visit to the cave with an expert guide, equipment included

Speleological visit inside the Tanaccia cave, one of the best-known in the area, located in the nearby Regional Park of Romagna's Gypsum Vein. Visitors are required to bring their own boots, while protective clothing and helmets are provided on site.

6) Visit to the Regional Park of Romagna's Gypsum Vein

A walk through the hills, a guided tour of the caves, lunch at the hut

The visit starts in the morning with a pleasant walk to the Regional Park of Romagna's Gypsum Vein, where guests will have the opportunity to take part in a speleological visit to the Tanaccia cave and to the nearby Marana cave, which was used for gypsum extraction in the past. At lunch time guests will stop off at the visitors' center of Carné Park, while in the afternoon, on the way back, guests will go through the area of Rontana, where they will encounter a few archaeological excavations uncovering well-preserved ruins. Visitors are required to bring their own boots or comfortable shoes for the walking part of the tour, while protective clothing and helmets for the speleological visit are provided on site.

7) Guided mountain-biking trip

In order to discover the natural beauty surrounding the medieval town of Brisighella and the charm of the renowned Three Hills, guests can take part in a mountain-biking trip organized by the cultural association Brisighella Ospitale. Accompanied by an expert guide, guests will also have the opportunity to go beyond the town of Brisighella, by cycling along the paths in the Regional Park of Romagna's Gypsum Vein or by heading towards Tuscany or towards the town of Faenza, world- renowned for its ceramic art. The trips offered are ideal for families and beginner groups, but also for advanced mountain-bikers. Your personal guide will recommend the most suitable trip for you.

8) Nordic Walking course

In the morning guests can take part in a three-hour- course held by a qualified trainer, in order to learn the basic technique of Nordic Walking, while in the afternoon they can take a panoramic walk with the trainer, in order to put what they have learnt into practice and also enjoy the wonderful views of the area around Brisighella.

9) Guided walk through Brisighella

Guided tour of the medieval town, aperitif at the local products shop

Guided two-hour-walk through the town center of Brisighella, followed by a welcome aperitif at the shop of the Brisighella PDO Olive Oil Consortium.

10) Let's rediscover the forgotten fruit varieties

Tasting of local products, walk through the orchards, guided visit

Thanks to the passion of a few farmers, who were able to collect "forgotten" fruit varieties into a sort of museum in the open, guests have the opportunity to take a walk through the orchards and to taste new flavors by handpicking the fruits from the tree, varying according to the season. After the visit guests will take a walk through the surrounding hills to a medieval sighting tower and will be offered a snack with typical local products.
